Privacy statement

Data protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and with this privacy statement.

Collecting and processing personal data

In general, it is possible to use our website without entering any personal data. If we collect any personal data (e.g. your name, address or e-mail addresses) on our site, this is always done on a voluntary basis where possible. These data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit approval.

Please note that the transfer of data via the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to protect the data entirely against third-party attacks.

Server log files

The provider of this site automatically collects and stores data in “server log files” which your browser automatically transmits to us. This consists in:

  • an anonymised IP address
  • browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing Computer
  • time of server query.

The data collected are used only for statistical purposes and to improve the website. However, the website operator reserves the right to retrospectively check the server log files should there be concrete signs of unlawful use.

Use and disclosure of personal data and purpose Limitation

All personal data arising through our Internet services will be collected, processed and used in accordance with the respective applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, as amended from time to time, for the sole purpose of carrying out business processes and safeguarding our own legitimate business interests in advising and supporting our customers and interested parties.

Insofar as we are legally obliged to do so or by court order, we will transmit your data to authorised agencies.

Security

We undertake technical and organisational security precautions to protect the personal data which you provide from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised people. Our security precautions are continuously updated in in line with technological developments.

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need you to give us an e-mail address, as well as data that will allow us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and have agreed to receive the newsletter. No other data will be collected. We will use these data solely for sending the requested information and will not pass the data on to third parties.

At any time, you may withdraw your consent to the data and the e-mail address being stored and used to send the newsletters, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.

Cookies

We use cookies on our website. A cookie is a file that is stored on your computer when you visit a website. The cookie contains a unique number and, if appropriate, a date. The cookie contains no personal data.

You can configure your browser to refuse to accept cookies or to notify you before a cookie is stored. Further information on this can be found in your browser. We do not use cookies to personally identify you.

Google Maps

To display an interactive map, this website uses the Google Maps API, a map service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Using Google Maps allows information about your use of the website (including your IP address) to be transmitted to and stored by Google on a server in the USA. Google may also transfer the information collected via Maps to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the data on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Nonetheless, it could be technologically possible for Google to identify individual users based on the data received.

Google could possibly process website users’ personal data and personality profiles for other purposes over which we do not and cannot have any control. This, and the fact that data are transmitted to the USA, is problematic in terms of data protection law.

You have the option to disable the Google Maps service and prevent data from being transferred to Google: to do so, disable JavaScript in your browser. This will, however, mean that you cannot use the map display.

By using this website and not disabling the JavaScript function, you are explicitly stating that you are aware of the problems related to data protection law but consent to data about you being processed by Google in the manner and for the purpose set out above.

Website tracking, apps, social network plug-ins

This website does not use any services such as website tracking (Google Analytics), apps or social network Plug-Ins.

Links to other providers’ websites

Our website may contain links to other providers’ websites. Please note that this privacy policy applies exclusively to this website. We have no control over whether other providers comply with current data protection provisions, and do not check whether this is the case.

Participation in competitions

By participating in competitions we support, entrants consent to the personal data provided during the competition being collected, stored and processed for the purpose of running the competition (selecting winners, contacting them and delivering their winnings). The data will then be deleted. This consent can be withdrawn at any time with future effect.

Protection of minors

Children and people below the age of 18 should not send us any personal data without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. We do not ask children for any personal data, do not collect any such data and do not pass such data on to third parties.

Right to access, erase and block data

You have the right, at any time and free of charge, to access the personal data saved regarding you, their origin and recipient and the purpose of their processing, as well as a right to have such data rectified, made unavailable or erased. If you have any questions about the processing of your personal data or their rectification or erasure, or have any other questions about the use of the personal data you have provided us with, you can contact our data protection officer directly. You can contact our data protection officer at datenschutz@management-consult.de.

Objection to advertising e-mails

Regarding the contact data published under our obligation to provide company details, we hereby object to the use of such data to send advertising and information materials not specifically requested. The site operators expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the case of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, e.g. as spam e-mails.

Validity and currency of the privacy statement

By using our website, you consent to the use of data as described above. This privacy statement is currently valid and dated 1st January 2024.

Further developments of our website or the implementation of new technologies may make it necessary to change this privacy statement. We reserve the right to change this privacy statement at any time with future effect. We recommend that you read the privacy statement again from time to time.
